Haven’t really updated the blog mainly because of my laziness and lack of anything interesting to post. The other factor (although not as important) as to why I haven’t been updating the blog is because it doesn’t look like too many people are visiting it and also, because college is starting once again very soon so I’ve been busy dealing with all the preparation for it (reading assignments, syllabus analyzing, book purchasing, etc, etc).

So yeah my main question is: Who actually reads this blog? Please leave your name in the comments.

No I’m not dead, I’m actually doing pretty good; I just haven’t had anything to post about for the past couple of weeks. The only note-worthy thing is that ZipTorrent is EVAL and that CODE GEASS was licensed (woo hoo! can’t wait to buy those DVDs!)

So just like I said, right after work, I went out and bought that Atlantic DVD Shelf at Best Buy. I have to say that I still really hate Best Buy. The people working there, for the most part, are retarded and don’t know their own store. To give you an example, the guy I got to help me find the shelf I wanted to buy had to go check the back of the store twice to see if he could find the shelf (this was after he took forever looking it up in the computer, mind you) and he still had no luck. After he went for a third time to the storage in the back of the store, I finally decided to look around the store’s anime section to see what was new. I found out that the “Le Chevalier D’Eon” Livre III is out already, so I need to buy that. But anyways, after looking through the store’s anime DVDs, I decided I was fed up with this guy failing at life and went out and tried to find the shelf myself. Turns out that by the time he came back from his third visit to the storage in the back I had already found the shelf and he felt pretty stupid. He then got the shelf box for me and took it to the front so I could pay for it, which was kinda cool.

After getting home and opening the box containing the pieces of the shelf-to-be, I have to say I had my doubts. The pieces were all made of that crappy “compressed wood” that most cheap things are made out of now a days. But after taking about an hour building the thing, I have to say it’s pretty sturdy. It holds way more stuff than I thought it did, that’s for sure. uLTraCarL sure as hell had me worrying with the comments he left in my last post where I talked about getting a shelf because he said “You can probably fill the entire thing with with everything you have in those three pictures as it stands.” and “You’ll be surprised how fast those shelves fill up :O” but it turns out he was probably just exaggerating. As you can tell from the picture up top, I had put all of my manga, some of my video games, my Nintendo GameCube, a bunch of CD-Rs, some video game and anime OSTs, my old phat DS, two of my GBA consoles, my Noir card deck, my RahXephon T-shirt, my Full Metal Panic! T-Shirt, my GBA SP box, my DS box, some of my DS/GBA games, my StarCraft battle chest, my Half-Life Platinum Collection Box and my Family Guy season boxed sets just to make it look like the shelf is full of anime DVDs.

So yeah…crazy stuff. Shelf looks pretty though, I like it. Thanks for the recommendation again CarL. ^_^ More high-rez pictures of the shelf after the jump.

Today I saw some guy at a Sprint kiosk in the Fashion Square Mall getting a red UpStage for himself and he was so disappointed when he finally purchased it and open the box to find that the battery wallet (that all UpStage phones bring) was actually red, just like the phone. Now, the red UpStage looks beautiful, don’t get me wrong, but that’s because it’s a chrome red, so it looks cool. On the other hand though, the battery wallet that comes with the UpStage is made of leather, so yeah…red leather? On a guy? No good. It looks like a woman’s purse.

So yeah, word of warning to male Sprint customers:
Don’t get the red UpStage unless you’re really secure of your masculinity

Feeling better now, I’m back in the game. Amazing what some alcohol can do to your mood! I’ll be back tomorrow with a new post (hopefully not from the Smash Bros. DOJO!!, hehe)

Sorry for not posting anything today (again). Had a LONG day at work (Got to work at 8:30AM got out at 8:40PM). Had to chill with my coworkers for a while over at T.G.I. Friday’s before going home because if not I was going to blow. It was pretty fun. We had a couple of drinks and talked about how much work sucked today, etc etc. I left pretty excited from the place since I agreed with another one of the coworkers to go to a Salsa Class with her this coming week, so that was pretty cool. I’ve always wanted to sharpen my salsa dancing skills. But then when I got into the car to leave, there were like 3 roaches inside the car! I was like WTF? So I squashed those bitches and headed home. Oh I forgot to mention, after I killed the roaches I was hanging my shirt in the back of the car and I didn’t do it quite right so it fell on the floor, getting squashed roach brains all over the sleeve. So yeah, great way to start a weekend. -_-

Took the day off today from the computer. Spent most of the day with my family and went to see Ocean’s Thirteen in the evening. It was really good, if you enjoyed the first two, definitely go see this one.

Hey guys, sorry for not posting about anything yesterday. I’ve been feeling lazy these past couple of days and about two days ago I started watching the GONZO anime Basilisk and I’m really getting into it. Last night after I got home from work I was super tired so I just laid back on my bed and watched about 8-9 episodes of Basilisk episodes in a row. This show is really cool so far, hopefully they won’t mess it up at the end.

So yeah…right now I am at work so I can’t really make a full-length post about anything so expect today’s daily post later on tonight.
